I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Senckenberg Centre for Wildlife Genetics in Gelnhausen, Germany, as well as a research associate at the Smithsonian's National Zoological Park and Conservation Biology Institute's Center for Conservation genomics. Broadly, my research centers on investigating the effects of anthropogenic influences on spatial and temporal wildlife population dynamics.
My primary research focus is on population and museum genomics. Genetic analysis of museum specimens can provide us with invaluable information about past population processes, which can then help inform conservation efforts today.
